The old town centre in Benidorm is going to be turned into a pedestrian friendly area. Traffic restrictions into the centre will start on Monday.
Under this plan which comes into force on July 1st , workers and residents will need a permit to park there .. The parking permits can be applied for at the town hall between 09.00 and 14.00 Mondays to Fridays.
A council spokesman said that the permits must be displayed from July 1st.
