More than 2,600 Benidorm pensioners will have their 2007 water and rubbish collection rates reurned to them by the council.

This will happen despite the current economic situation.

To qualify , the pensioners must have been registered on the town’s ” padron ” for 10 years, own or rent a property and have all of their local taxes paid up to date.
