Due to the economic crisis Ondara council will freeze its proposed rates increase.
It is the fourth town to have taken the same measure. The others are Teulada, Javea and Pego .
A spokesman said that to avoid catastrophe it was decided to shelve the revision of land values until there was a recovery in the economy.
