A major operation against child pornography on the internet has been smashed by the National Police.

More than 55 people have been detained at addresses all over the country.

More than 179 hard drives , almost 3000 cameras , laptops etc were seized. There were thousands of pornographic images of children .

Those arrested came from all walks of life including professors , architects , policemen  and were arrested in Aspe , Alcoy, Murcia, Valencia, and all other major regions of Spain.

A 19 year old man was denounced after the childs mother discovered him taking photographs of her daughter with a webcam.
