Money raised by selling second hand books at the Moraira market on the first and third Fridays of each month has raised 5000 euros so far . The club now requires more paperbacks to sell.

The monies raised help worthy causes and the club recently sent 2000euros to the China earthquake appeal.

Around the world 2 million dollars has been raised by Lions Clubs members to aid direct funding and relief aid to victims.in China.
