A 16 month old child fell to her death in Elche last Sunday.
It appears that the child pushed a chair near a window before anyone realised what was happening..
The force of the fall caused severe head injuries and the intensive care unit in Alicante were unable to keep her alive.
The Guardia Civil is now investigating the incident.
