Councillor Josep Femenia has seen his proposal to build a bypass around Benitaxell presented in the Valencia parliament .

The proposed bypass would take more than 13000 vehicles away from the town.

He has also asked that the stretch of toll road between Benitaxell and Ondara on the AP-7 be made toll free to provide motorists with an alternative route.

This proposal has been backed by all of the town’s political groups
