Pickets allegedly attacked lorries parked at an industrial estate in San Isidro.The vehicles were set on fire and a driver suffered second degree burns to 25% of his body because he was sleeping in his cab at the time.
He was transferred to the burns unit at Alicante Hospital.
Other over zealous pickets were run over as they tried to stop lorries leaving industrial complexes.
Another consequence has forced Ford to close their factory at Almussafes, Valencia .
3000 staff have had to stop working temporarily.
