They say that there are other more important projects to be funded , instead of paying 115,000euros for this.

The Greens do want improvements to this beach , enabling it to achieve a blue flag , but they propose a ramp .

They feel that a lift could also be flooded during heavy storms.

The lift is supposed to be for the elderly and disabled , not for those carrying umbrellas , picnics , chairs etc

The Punta Prima restaurant is close by to the proposed lift and there is a possibility that it may also have a commercial purpose.
