The Preventorio is a childrens home in Gandia . It has no public funding and Javea Golf Club and Bay Radio are hoping to raise enough money to enable central heating to be installed by the winter.
These children are unable to live at home and are aged from 2-12 years.There are 45 of them at the moment . During the winter they have blankets to keep themselves warm and cannot take showers at the same time of the day, to conserve hot water.
Javea Golf Club and Bay Radio have decided to hold fund raising events to raise the money. On June 28th there will be a golf tournamentand it is hoped to raise 10,000 euros at this event .All of the money raised will be donated to the fund , there no hidden costs .
Silvasol will sponsor the tournament and will also install the system at the home .
It is hoped that many local businesses will donate raffle prizes and make monetary donations also.
