More than 500 people took part in the Semana de Salud in Alfas del Pi.
Doctors from the Levante Hospital in Benidorm gave free medical checks to all who turned up. Other medical experts gave talks about cholesterol control , blood pressure levels , diets and heart related problems.
Social Services have said that the week was a great success and will be repeated next year.
