Weather on the Costa Blanca has been unseasonally wet and cold . Visitors expecting to bathe in the sun and the warm Mediterranean Sea were in for a bit of a shock.

Clouds have hung over most coastal resorts preventing the sun from warming up the sea.

However today will see temperatures well above the seasonal normal with Seville reaching 35 degrees , Murcia 33 degrees and the Costa Blanca at 30 degrees.
