The charity Age Concern is now 10 years old on the Costa Blanca and it is celebrating its birthday with an anniversary dinner in Torrevieja.

They were more than likely the first foreign charity to register in this part of Spain , being run by non-Spanish personnel.

They led the way in the opening up of the UK type charity shop for fund raising .

Torrevieja council have been very supportive of them and has allowed them to use offices which have become their day centre .They have also provided them with more space to house the Stroke Support Group.
