The town hall in Los Alcazares has backed the attempts of the Mar menor / Murcia branch of the Cancer Support Group ( MABS ) in organising a special event to raise money for cancer patients .

It is called ” The Race for Life ” and will take place along the promenade in September .

They are hoping that local businesses will provide sponsorship to help cover the costs of T-shirts , water , printing , gifts and trophies .
