The Blue Lagoon urbanisation in Orihuela has had a very poor quality water supply for years . The water has been tested and at times has been so polluted that it was deemed unfit for pregnant women and children .
This week they have felt that a good water supply was coming their way as the workmen have moved in to dig up the roads and put down the pipes .
The down side is that each householder is being asked to pay 700 euros for the privilege and if they don’t pay up within 15 days the price will go up , which sounds very much like blackmail .
It appears that the new pipework belongs to Aguagest and you have to pay for it Everyone feels that the town hall should be paying for the infrastructure .
