The ministry of health says that the outbreak of Legionnaire’s disease which has affected seven people in Carcaixent is now under control.

The risk of contracting the disease is small and everyone is asked to remain calm about it .

They are doing everything possible to locate the source of the outbreak and prevent its further spread .

Many industrial buildings , particularly those with refrigeration units , are being checked .Manufacturers of foodstuffs and textiles are also on the agenda .

A possible source has been cordoned off and disinfected .The victims are either being treated in hospital or have been sent home . All are out of danger .
