A father was having an argument with his adult son when his wife , the young man’s mother stepped in to help him .
The father then proceeded to attack both mother and son causing minor wounds which did bleed .
This happened on the Campoamor urbanisation in Orihuela Costa and the police had to be called to sort things out .
The woman and her son managed to lock the husband in a bedroom until the police arrived . The police had been alerted by neighbours .
