Four walkers became disorientated when they were walking in the Vall de Laguar , inland from Denia .

The police spent 2 hours searching for them and finally rescued them before darkness fell .

The area where they were walking is notorious for stranded walkers and the area is commonly known as ” Hells Ravine ” and it separates the Vall de Laguar from the Vall d’ Ebo.

It is a very popular area with walkers and tourists alike , where it is possible to stop at viewing   points and look at the scenery .
