The urbanisation La Colina organised a ” street party ” recently .The councillor for International Relations in Javea  attended together with about 100 guests and friends .

There was no special occasion to celebrate , it was just an occasion to cement relationships .

There was musical entertainment and plenty of food and the British contingent explained that it was something that we  Brits did after the Second World War .

The councillor said that it was something that she would like to see happening in other parts of Javea
