Aquopolis water theme park in Torrevieja was the scene of an armed raid last week and it is estimated that the thieves got away with over 200,000 euros .

It is thought that 5 men , wearing balaclavas were involved in the raid . The security guard was threatened , tied up , although not injured .They then disabled the burglar alarms .

The two safes were broken open with special machines and because there were no security cameras it is proving to be very difficult to identify anyone , although the men are thought to be of Moroccan origin .
