The Carthaginian and Roman festivities begin at the end of September in Cartagena . There will be thousands taking part as soldiers , slaves , dancers , the whole thing .
There will be many performances depicting the history of the city and most of them will take place in the Parque torres near the harbour .
There will also be a Roman circus show in the Carthago Nova stadium plus a harbour battle on the 26 September .
Both the Carthaginians and the Romans share a parade on Saturday 27 September .
