Queso de Murcia al Vino has been awarded with a designation of origin seal, which is a EUcertificate to protect the names of high quality European food .
The regional councillor for agriculture says that the cheese is being faked , these faked cheeses have been found in markets across Europe and the USA and a formal complaint has been presented to the Ministry of Agriculture .
This cheese is made in farmhouses from milk og the Murcia - Granada goat and it is then marinaded in Murcia red wine .
It is the most exported cheese in Spain .
