The town of Denia has a population of 44,000 people and in the summer that rises to 100,000 and at the moment they have only one ambulance .

They normally have two but the other is now unfit for service . Consequently this single vehicle has to deal with all emergencies be it on the beach , at a football match or attending a fiesta .

This 50 % cut in their service is going to cause big problems for the town .
