The building of the Mecadona supermarket on the Moraira - Benitachell road has become a nightmare for some British residents who own a property nearby .
They have had their walls broken down , extortionate water bills ,a broken TV dish , live cables all over the place and throughno fault of there own they have huge bills to pay .
The local council has been helpful and all that these people want is for things to return to the way they were . They are hoping that their insurance company will pay out on claims that they have made for the damage caused , but they don’t seem hopeful .
