The examination results from the Laude The Lady Elizabeth School in Jalon were 20 % higher than those of those in the UK.
54 % acquired an A or A* in English and when one considers that English is a second language for many of the pupils it is an excellent result .
The students all met up at the school to receive those pieces of paper with the all important letters on them and most of the pupils were rewarded for all of their hard work . Many will now go on to the next stage and take their A level examinations at the school .
