The small town of Concentaina is 60km inland from Alicante and 110 km inland from Valencia .

It has become much more accessible  recently with much improved roads to both cities .

Last week they held their Fira de Tots and were concerned about its success because of the economic crisis .

They need not have worried and they estimate that almost half a million people visited over the weekend .

Most of the historic  town was given  over to a large medieval market and it is the biggest fair of its type in the whole of Spain .
