The seabed in Javea Port was cleaned up by 60 volunteers last weekend .
The solid residues are collected by divers who deposit them on the side and then they are placed i containers by other volunteers .
This keeps the quality of the water in the port to a high standard .
All of the volunteers were then invited to a lunch at the town hall where the environment councillor stressed the importance of educating the general public not to throw items into the sea .
