The top four clubs in La Liga are fighting it out for supremacy but Valencia had a shock last weekend when they lost at home to Sporting Gijon .

However they remain level with real Madrid with 23 points. It is only their second loss of the season and was quite unexpected .

Sporting were always ahead of the game throughout the match , never losing the lead . Valencia had some consolation in that their 20 year old Los Ches continues to show his class by scoring his sixth goal of the season .
