Last Sunday morning a new born baby girl was found on Huelin beach in Malaga city .The baby was found just after 9.30 am and an autopsy has discovered that the child was alive when she entered the water .

This could be ascertained because water was found in her lungs whereas if she had been dead before going into the sea there would have been no sign of water in the breathing organs .

The post-mortem was carried out by the Ciudad de Justicia and they say that she had not been in the water for very long before being washed up onto the shore .

Emergency  services say that the baby was white and that the hospital clip was still attached to the umbilical cord , indicating that she was only a few days old .

Witnesses say that a man with a pram was seen on the beach even earlier in the morning .

The National Police are focusing on identifying the baby and the parents .There is a possibility that there are CCTV cameras in the town which might show up something of value .
