Amateur tennis players from all over the Alt Emporada can take part in a tennis tournament in Roses on the Costa Brava from February to April 19th .

Tourism on the Costa Brava is expecting a meagre season in 2009 and the figures are based on tourists from Spain itself .Last year it fell by 5% and this year that figure is expected to rise .85 % of Spaniards say that they are going to be more economical this coming year and that will mean  cutting back on vacations .The other 15% say that they will not travel at all .
