The British Chamber of Commerce in Spain together with the Marbella Dutch Business Club are inviting citizens to an informal drinks evening for the purpose of networking .It will be held on March 31st at the Hotel Puente Romano in Marbella .Entry is free but there will be a cash bar for the evening .It all starts at 7pm .

Last week the Dutch Club Costa del Sol celebrated its 30th Anniversary .They celebrated during the afternoon in the Hotel Alay , Benalmadena .Those attending had cocktails and lunch and then enjoyed an afternoon of entertainment to celebrate the event .They are all hoping that the next 30 years  will be as successful .

A cheque of 1000 euros has been given to the Malaga Children’s orphanage in Malaga by both the Mijas Lion’s Club and the Gemini Masonic Chapter .As the orphanage provides about 150 lunches a day they were in need of an industrial dishwasher and so this money has gone towards purchasing one to help everyone . On April 18 the organisation LIVE which supports this orphanage is having a fun day to help raise more funds .

The most read newspaper in Spain and also on the Costa Blanca is the sport paper ” Marca ” and alongside that is the magazine ” Pronto ” .The Spanish version of Hello magazine has even been recommended for its excellent Spanish .Can one imagine the same recommendation of any British magazine ?
