Daya Nueva and Deya Vieja near Alicante , police forces are aiming to share their resources and during the discussions in the Town Hall with local residents it has been revealed that during the last three weeks there have been 14 burglaries or attempted burglaries to properties in the town .The suspects do not hide themselves away , in fact they are quite blatent .They have even been challenged , gone away and returned a little later .They have even cut power lines to a street to enable themselves not to be seen .One resident even followed the suspects in his car .They travelled through the town centre at speeds in excess of 90 kph and almost hit some children .All of these incidents have taken place after 10 pm and the vehicle used is thought to be a Dodge four wheel drive .They even have a registration number and it has even been seen with the occupants aboard .
Even so they have not yet been caught .The Guardia Civil have been informed of most of the incidents and are actively searching for them .The police are asking that any persons seeing such a vehicle contact them straight away .It seems amazing that such flagrant attempts to rob residents has not yet been solved .
