The funeral has taken place in Dolores ,near Alicante,of the woman who was killed and dismembered by her husband.Hundreds of people from the surrounding districts attended the funeral to pay their last respects.All of those living in the area are horrified by the events which took place in their community.

The murder took place in the home which the two people had been sharing for five months.It appears that there was an argument .He had brutalised her before killing her and he then dismembered her body,cleaned the room and disposed of the body parts in various garbage bins in the area.

He has confessed to the crime ,saying that he just went mad and that he is mentally disturbed.This was not an isolated incident as a previous partner had reported him to the police in 2004 when he had threatened to kill her .He attacked her with a knife and she almost died .The man does have a criminal record.Why therefore was this man still in the community after attempting to murder another woman?

The victim was truly a victim of domestic violence and had reported two other partners for violence.However she had never reported this man.The judge is asking for psychiatric reports and is holding the man in custody.
