The British father of three who was hurled over a balcony near Malaga and who has ben in a coma for the past weeks ,has been pronounced brain dead and taken off life support machines.
It is not yet known what actually sparked the row between a group of spanish and British youths but it is thought that Stephen Mallon ,who was the father of two of the youths involved ,came in to put a stop to the brawl.For his involvement he was hurled over a balcony and fell on his head,sustaining fatal damage to his head.
Now two men have been arrested in connection with the death of the 49 year old who has had a holiday home in the area for some years and who had thought that there were good relationships between the various communities living in their small town.There have been strong rumours of anti-British feeling in the town,but this has neither been confirmed or denied.
