The former Planning Consultant for Marbella town hall has been in prison for the last 3 years .One would imagine that because Juan Antonio Roca is seen as central to the Malaya corruption case that he would have been sacked by now.Not so.
The PSOe party is criticising the Town Hall for not having dismissed him .Instead they are about to take “disciplinary “action against him.The disciplinary action is for ‘unjustified absence from work”.One would think that being locked up in prison is enough justification for not turning up for work each day.
It is true that disciplinary procedures do have to follow a set routine and that some of these can be long winded but to have started them after three years does seem a tad slow .The PSOE does seem to have a legitimate cause for criticism of the Town Hall .
