La Nogalera in Torremolinos on the Costa del Sol ,was the scene of an attack by a Moroccan man on a Spanish man.It appears that a group of young men were involved and it is not yet clear whether they were about to attack the Moroccan and he retaliated or whether it was he who initiated the attack.However the Moroccan broke a bottle and proceeded to attack one of the Spanish group,cutting his face very seriously.After the attack the man ran away from the scene.Friends called the police and emergency services.The man was taken to Malaga’s Hospital Civil and he will need special surgery to his face which was seriously cut.
The suspect was later found by the police and taken into custody.Naturally the police will ascertain whether it was the group of Spanish youths who instigated the affray outside the bar .When you are one against a gang then desperate measures are called for for your own survival.In some circumstances it could have been the Moroccan on the floor with serious injuries .This does not condone violence of any sort but it might have been a reason for the Moroccan attacking a group of young Spaniards .It isn’t usual for one person to take on a group unless there is good reason.
