Police in Gijon ,Madrid had to arrest a Spanish man over a fracas related to olives.The man entered a bar in the town,ordered a beer and the waitress brought him some olives to eat with the beer.When the man tasted the olives he obviously thought that they were well below the standard that he was used to eating.

To show his displeasure he stormed into the barto complain about the olives and insult the bar owner in the process.Bar staff and clients in the bar attempted to calm him down.He was threatened with the police but nothing would calm him and he proceeded to smash bottles and glasses and throw chairs all over the bar and also at passing cars.

The man caused at least 500 euros worth of damage and before the police arrived  the man had scarpered .However people knew where he lived and he was arrested at his home .It materialised that the man had a criminal record for theft and other minor crimes.Maybe a few weeks on an anger management course would help him in the future.
