The Court Number Four in Lorca was the scene of a very difficult case last week when a man who escaped from Castellon Prison ( Valencia Region )a month ago was up in front of the judge and refused to testify. He was recaptured by the Guardia Civil in the area of La Hoya.
The 26 year old has lived in Murcia since childhood but was in fact born in Morocco. He exhibits very violent behaviour and it has required a dozen officers to keep an eye on himHe had spent several hours in a cell before being taken before the judge but he then refused to testify.
The judge charged him with possession of illegal weapons and also offences against police officers,as well as with driving offences. His other crimes and offences will be judged in Castellon and Huercal Overa in Almeria.
The judge sentenced him to prison without bail due to the high risk of him escaping again and also because of his violent behaviour. He will however be permitted to have visitors.Six hours after his arrival in Castellon he was taken to Sangonera Prison by Guardia Civil officers.
