Police in Elche on the Costa Blanca were called to the Carrus area of the town where a man had been seriously stabbed by another.Both men are in their thirties .The victim has refused to tell the police who the attacker was but it is thought to be drugs related.
It is possible that an argument began when the victim was unable to pay for drugs.The attacker then pulled a knife and stabbed him in the chest.It was later revealed that both men are habitual offenders and that both have criminal records.The injured man was taken to Elche hospital whefre he is said to be in a serious condition.
Policia Local have also arrested a man who verbally abused passengers on a city bus in the Francisco Tomas y Valiente area of Elche.When the police were called he refused to give his name to them and attempted to hit the officers when they tried to get him off the bus.He had to be taken to a health centre where they sedated him before he could be taken to the police station.He injured one of the police officers en route.
