You only have to observe Brits in your local supermarket in Spain to cringe at their uncouth ways.Generally loud,belly hanging out,ill -educated conversations and not the impression that you would prefer to project of the UK.Spain seems to attract the worst element .It is still one of the most popular destinations for British tourists with about 17 million visiting over a year.Sadly Spain has also suffered its worst behaviour from UK holidaymakers.This has come from a report written by the British government.
Nearly 3000 Brits were arrested in Spain over the period of a year up to March 2009.Drugs,sexual assaults ,rape,accidents requiring hospitalisation and then there were the 7,548 lost passports.The report expresses concern about the number of cases which involved drugs and alcohol.These two caused particular problems during the summer months.
Britain’s Foreign Office Minister has stressed that many problems could be avoided if people just found out more about the laws of the country they are visiting and fewer would end up in jail if they abided by the law.Travel Insurance would also alleviate many of the hospital problems caused when an accident happens.
Having said all of that it still does not take into account the yob culture which is rife in Britain and causes havoc on British streets.when it is transferred to a foreign culture it just seems so much worse.these are not good ambassadors for Britain.
