The vice -president of Valmor Sports announced last week that the Formula I race in Spain in 2010 will take place in Valencia but it will take place in June rather than August.The vice-president was obviously delighted at the change of dates for the event.Both the Valencia government and the town hall are all very pleased with the new date of June 27th 2010 .

During the week the FIA has been carrying out an enquiry in Paris about the Singapore Grand Prix .It has been decided that the former Renault team boss Flavio Briatore will bebanned from ever being part of Formula One again following foul play on that day.It was found that he deliberately caused one of their team drivers ,Nelson Piquet Jr to crash to order to give advantage to Fernando Alonso.

So severe is the ban that the FIA has stated that Briatore must never be given access to any part of Formula One again,be it a race or in the pits,for the rest of his life.Nelson Piquet Jr was exonerated after he told the FIA exactly what happened.Renault will continue to race but should a similar thing ever happen again then they run the risk of being banned.
