The court in Alicante has sentenced a British man to 13 years in prison for allegedly killing a 17 year old motorcyclist in a very inhumane way.
The man allegedly ran over the teenager and then knowingly dragged him along beneath his car.It is alleged that the man then made various manoevres to try to dislodge the body of the young man,leaving him in a ditch to die from his very serious wounds.
There will now be a further trial as the man has appealed against his sentence.The sentence will now be suspended until the appeal is heard .The British man will remain in custody until these procedures are completed.The wife of the accused is also in custody and she is accused of failing to assist the victim when her husbanf continued to drive for two kilometres,knowing that the young man was beneath the car.
