The National Police in Orihuela have broken a vehicle stealing racket which involved two British men and one Irish.These men were involved in the stealingof high quality cars in the UK,transporting them to Spain and then either selling them on or using them in other crimes.
Officers arrested a British national last week in the Orihuela area.They caught him driving a Mercedes ML270 with a fake UK registration number plate.The car had been reported stolen in the UK.
This went on to lead to the arrest of the two others.They were caught driving an Audi A4 with false British number plates.The three men were all under an arrest warrant in the UK.
The police have also found other high calibre cars and forged documents in the name of the accused parties.
