Moraira beaches have been given awards ,once again,for their cleanliness and services.The studies of the beaches were done by TUV Rheinland organisation over the last months.The local councillor for the beaches has acclaimed that these beaches are an example set for other Valencia beaches to follow.Playa L’Ampolla received the prestigious Premio Bandera Ecoplaya award.

In Villajoyosa the council has acquired permission to expropriate land to build the new Dr Esquerdo school after the council voted in favour.The compulsory purchase covers 850 square metres of land in the PP14 zone which will be added to the existing plot of almost 7000 square metres .The expropriation of this piece of land was absolutely necessary for the construction of the school it seems.

The International Relations Council in Denia on the Costa Blanca has organised talks in English ,Dutch and German about the SUMA.All of the talks begin at 5pm.

Two spanish women were arrested in Moraira on suspicion of the theft of almost 200 euros from a shop in the town.The pair had gone into a clothes shop where they threatened the owner with a penknife.They fled on foot but were caught by the police.
