Prointec SA has been awarded the contract to widen the N-332 bypass at Benidorm.This is a contract worth 1.58 million euros.The announcement has just come from the Ministry of Works by the Provincial MP Herick Campos.
Sr Campos was visiting Benidorm and as well as making this very welcome announcement he also announced that the preparatory work would be done before the end of December.It is hoped therefore that the actual widening process could begin in January 2010.The total cost of the widening has been estimated at just under 2 million euros.
