The amadorio reservoir near Villajoyosa is giving some cause for concern to the environment councillor in the town.He is claiming that the wall of the reservoir is unsafe and that the Jucar Water Confederation (CHJ) needs to carry out repairs on it .He also blames the Environment Ministry for not doing more to ensure its safety.

The councillor has quoted the fact that the CHJ released millions of litres of water into the sea recently,claiming that the reservoir was in danger of overflowing.The councillor is claiming that the water was released to release pressure on the reservoir wall.

The CHJ have denied any problems with the wall.All that they will admit to is the fact that the road going across the top of the wall is in need of repair.However they say that that has nothing to do with the wall.They say that the council may have been confused about a document highlighting the bad state of this road and mistaken the problem as being with the wall..The council was invited to present any documented evidence about flaws in the wall to them and they will investigate it .
