Last week the two La Nucia off road specialists Jaime Perez and Leo Noel took second and third places in their respective categories at the Valencia Trial championships held in Viver,Castellon.The race was over 20 kand covered all types of terrain including woodland.Jaime took third place in the veteran’s B category and Leo took second place in the senior C category.
La Nucia has a Scout group and they have taken a break during the hot summer months,Their first activity at the beginning of the autumn was to walk through the town up to the Cautivador chapel.The group is always seeking new recruits .Their headquarters are on avenida Carretera 56 next door to Mas y Mas.They meet on a saturday at 4.30.They offer a wide variety of activities which include walking,camping,workshops plus socialising with other groups in the region.
