The domestic violence court in Seville in Andalucia sentenced a man to a prison sentence for allegedly inflicting wounds on his partner.There were eight reports filed and it now appears that they were false.He has spent 11 months in prison for this alleged abuse but has now been freed.
It has been established that he could not have inflicted the wounds and the woman caused the harm to herself.He was held in prison ahead of the trial as a precaution.There were no witnesses to the attacks and one doctor who examined the woman in hospital did comment on the fact that he did not believe that she had lost her memory for over two hours.
Her knife wounds were superficial and did not look like injuries made while she was fensing off an attacker.There were no real defensive marks on her body.Over a period of two years the woman presented reports on the abuse to the police .She also went on TV programmes to explain what had happened.
The man on the other hand had solid alibi’s for his whereabouts when the attacks are alleged to have taken place.
