The UK travel tour operator awards one of their hotels a Gold Award and this year it is the Benidorm hotel Rio Park.
Last Wednesday evening at the Rio Park hotel the tourism councillor and the Director of Regional Tourism presented the Rio Park manager with the Gold Standard Award.The presentation was carried out by Gareth williams,the Tui Travel Area Manager who is responsible for customer services in Spain.
Customers rate the various hotels in the chain according to quite strict criteria and then they vote according to their experience of them.The criteria include all aspects of customer service and satisfaction during their stay in the hotels.
During the winter of 2008 they awarded the Med Playa Hotel Rio Park in Benidorm with not just the Gold award but the overall Gold award for this category of hotel.This means that the Rio Park was voted the top hotel in the world group of 385 similar hotels.
The hotel has a very high percentage of repeat guests and they know many of their guests personally.There are many who just return year after year .One couple have been going back for 36 times and are very obviously satisfied with the quality of the place.
