Recently ,in Benidorm at the Benidorm Palace there was a special performance put on for “Help the Heroes”campaign.It was an excellent event and had a full house.Now in Benidorm for Remembrance Sunday on November 8 the owners of the Cumberland bar will be putting on a special ceremony for all those who wish to attend.Last year this was also a well attended event.
The bar will be open at 10am and they will serve refreshments of all types but no alcohol until after the service which begins at 10.45.There will be a short service and the traditional two minutes silence at 11am.The service will be concluded by the congregation singing Jerusalem..
This bar is a favourite haunt of many expats and also many ex-service people.The owners of the bar are expecting all of those who attend to dress in an appropriate manner.Those who are able can wear their medals and awards as appropriate too.There will be an opportunity to donate to the Poppy Appeal for the Royal British legion or to the Help for Heroes Charity.
